Christy Plyler, Spa Manager

Christy is a Mooresville native whose family has called this area home for over 50 years. She has worked in the pet grooming industry for over five years where her work experience and love for animals makes Christy the perfect fit for our pet salon. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Kimber, and loves spending family time with her nieces and nephews. In addition, she has a pet tortoise named Benny who enjoys spending time outdoors sunning on beautiful Carolina blue sky days.

Join Our Team as a Groomer or Groomer Assistant!

The Dapper Dog Salon @ Langtree is a 1600+ sq. ft., high end, cage free, open concept grooming facility serving the surrounding communities at Lake Norman/Mooresville, NC.

The Dapper Dog Salon is currently seeking a full-time groomer with at least two years of experience serving clients with high standards and expectations related to the care and grooming of their pets. The successful candidate must demonstrate the following traits:

Integrity
Attention to detail
Cleanliness in the workplace
Ability to interact positively, professionally with both clients and team members
A person of good hygiene and professional appearance. (Representative of The Dapper Dog brand.)
Able to groom a minimum of eight pets per shift.
Certification preferred, but not required. Willing to consider a new groomer who is motivated to learn and build their grooming skills.

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a background check and drug test.
